Ideal Position:
My ideal opportunity would be a Marketing Communications/Account Management position with a progressive agency that values its own talent as much as it does its clients. The opportunity to work on the client side is also desirable because it allows me to focus my attention and 10+ years of experience on that particular business and its needs.
Ideal Environment:
My ideal environment is a progressive one where innovation is not only encouraged, but nurtured. The marketing/advertising landscape is changing by the second. Companies who invest in their own talent with continued education and exposure to the latest tools and trends are sure to stay ahead of the pack.
Past Experience:
My experience includes both Marketing Communications and PR. With PR being such a valuable function of marketing, I've always tried to incorporate it. From writing press releases to developing effective strategies for reinforcing a company’s brand, my experience in both areas has allowed me to contribute significantly to the success of a project.
Currently:
I recently wrapped up a project for a fantastic new stock photography site. My role was to edit and develop site content, identify new co-branding opportunities and streamline their marketing efforts. In addition to meeting these needs, I developed unique selling points designed to build real relationships with site visitors.
Additional:
I'm an experienced marketing communications professional and very passionate about the work that I do. I love to see a project take shape as it moves from conception to successful implementation. A healthy work environment is also important to me. I believe that positive interactions between co-workers plus true teamwork equals successful clients!
