Ideal Position:
Creative Director at a mid to large size agency with an excellent track record and a healthy corporate culture. Which translates to: a hot shop where people have fun working. The setting is a huge glass dome inclosure with aroma therapy to keep people calm and healthy. Our mantra would be "make a difference." Everyone would wear androgynous clothing like on Star Trek. Beneath the dome is an area with no natural light and a fabulous sound system. At the change of each season the agency parties there like rock stars.
Past Experience:
At Ogilvy & Mather Direct I had the pleasure of honing my craft under some of the greatest minds in the business. My contributions on Seagrams and AT&T were highly recognized in the industry. This led to a position at Bozell Adv where I helped pitch and win the Bell Atlantic mobile business which, after a few crazy years, became Verizon Wireless.
Currently:
As a freelancer I work frequently at Draft/fcb Healthcare. On a recent project for Cento, a revolutionary drug indicated for the treatment of psoriasis, I partnered with the creative director to come up with the winning idea for their new campaign. I am also the illustrator for that campaign. I have worked on everything from national campaigns to church flyers and have come to find through my creative experiences that everything is art direction. I look at the world as shape, light, and color and how they are used to affect people. How individuals can be enticed by a graphic or an entire country defined by a color. This fascinates me.
