Ideal Position:
My ideal position is either client side or agency side, evaluating the marketplace to determine what communications message is the most powerful for the brand. In order to help drive sales we must identify the key messaging that will motivate consumers to buy. We must know WHAT to say, WHO to say it to, and WHERE to place the message.
My ideal environment is one where everyone is passionate about delivering results. I enjoy working with other people who are smart and dedicated - where we work as a team for a shared goal. I also enjoy mentoring people and teaching those more junior the skills that are necessary to be successful.
Past Experience:
I started my career client side, marketing consumer packaged goods. I then moved agency side where I advised my clients on marketing strategy, positioning, and marketing communications. I have experience in virtually all media types including online, television, radio, magazines, newspaper, direct mail, out of home and non-traditional.
Additional Notes:
Whether it's identifying marketing strategies or brand positioning, or advertising messaging, my passion is for building brands. And to do this you have to understand 3 things: what consumers currently think of your brand, what you want them to think, and what you need to tell them to bridge that gap. It really is quite simple. And I love it.
