Paladin is seeking an experienced early- to mid-career Technical Writer for an onsite 6+ month contract role in Kent. Experience working in highly regulated industries is a must-have, in addition to the ability to work well independently and jointly with a team. If you are a fantastic communicator with the ability to work with subject matter experts, assess needs with precision, and deliver easy to understand documentation, we would love to speak with you.
 
Responsibilities for this job:

  • Gather and assess needs, write with high technical accuracy, update end user documentation
  • Conduct interviews and collaborate with development teams
  • Explain technical ideas in simplified language
  • Research and evaluate methods to improve processes
  • Maintain printed and online content for future versions

 
 
Qualifications for this job:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, English, or other relevant field
  • Minimum of three years of technical writing experience
  • Advanced ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to use relevant techniques including graphics, videos, and web-based context
  • Adobe Framemaker experience
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills
