Sr. Market Research Analyst role in West Chicago Suburbs
Paladin is working with a leading retail company based in the West Chicago suburbs that is growing fast and looking to add a Sr. Market Research Analyst to their team. In this role, you’ll provide analytic support to your team. The ideal candidate will be able to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify insights that will drive strategy development, sales and profitability. You should be a data-driven individual with experience that may include: KPIs, qualitative/quantitative research, CPG, IRI, Nielsen, data science, insights, business intelligence.

SALARY: Up to $95k/year

Responsibilities to Include:
• Lead research efforts to analyst market level data, including planning and forecasting.
• Make recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Perform detailed financial analysis on company initiatives, yielding actionable insights such as ROI and sales/customer count growth.
• Analyze primary and secondary data, providing regular updates on KPIs, competitive advertising, initiatives, etc.
• Analyze work procedures with the objective of driving simplicity and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
• Analyze and report on current financial and competitive status.
• Forecasting quarterly and annual profits.
• Prepare executive-level recommendations and reports including PowerPoint presentations.
• Bachelors’ degree in Business or related field along with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Past analysis experience including: KPIs, qualitative/quantitative research, IRI/Nielsen, data science, insights, business intelligence.
• Critical and strategic thinking with emphasis on accuracy and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across many levels of the business and across cross-functional teams.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA.
• Past experience using Access or similar database or, open-source coding software used for data science.
