Paladin is in search of a Social Media Marketing Manager to join one of our long-standing advertising agency clients, in helping manage the agency’s top account! This role is perfect for someone who is looking for an agency environment, and a close-knit group of colleagues to be involved in day-to-day account management, strategy, creative, reporting, communications, and liaising with our partners and vendors.
 
The ideal candidate must have paid media experience, must know how to place media ads for clients and not use a third party. It’s a great role for you to step into more of a strategic role and work closely with clients to achieve either business needs! Candidates with digital advertising and automotive background will be a huge plus!
 
Role: Permanent/Direct Hire
Location: Downtown Chicago
Start date: ASAP – as soon as we find the right candidate!
Salary: $50,000 – 55,000 annually

Responsibilities:

  • Work with account and product teams to ensure all content and campaigns are executed
  • Act as one of the day-to-day client contacts, working to achieve client business needs
  • Monitor clients' social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to engagements based on established brand and client guidelines
  • Foster community engagement with the clients' brands across social media platforms
  • Recommend creative strategies for social media executions in support of business goals
  • Provide strategic perspective and recommendations on content development for client social media channels
  • Seek out opportunities to drive organic growth within the client's social media accounts
  • Develop strategic paid social media advertising proposals that include: goals, campaign strategies, recommended tactics, budgets, and timelines
  • Manage the execution and ongoing optimization of all social advertising initiatives
  • Track, measure and report on all initiatives bi-monthly, monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns and sharing results, insights and best practices
  • Manage a variable marketing budget month to month to generate qualified leads for our clients, which includes managing forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign build and optimization

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with paid social advertising
  • Experience in digital media and/or automotive strongly preferred
