Paladin's client is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager for their office in Santa Monica, CA. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related area of study, at least seven years of solid digital marketing experience; preferably in retail and/or real estate, and excellent people management skills. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating dynamic digital and social media plans and strategies, and utilize internal and external resources to drive campaigns across all digital platforms, including social media, web, mobile and advertising.
Senior Digital Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior marketing team to develop annual digital strategy (social media, email program, mobile app, property websites, beacons, push notifications, and etc.), including campaign and editorial planning
  • Create strategy around user applications for new technologies
  • Manage the digital team including Social Media Manager(s) and Digital Marketing Coordinator
  • Setting annual digital goals and core KPIs, by instituting appropriate metrics aimed at measuring the success of campaigns as well as benchmarks
  • Oversee creation and development of all digital and social content
  • Responsible for developing campaigns that tie back to core business objectives across all digital platforms including social media, blogs, mobile and advertising
  • Manage relationships with external partners and agencies
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of marketing budget and invoicing process, maintaining reports that communicate estimated spend and invoiced to date as well as committed by month and quarter
  • Research, plan and recommend social tools roadmap
  • Develop an integrated approach that connects digital, brand, social and PR
  • Manage programs in-house as well as work closely with external partners and agencies

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Marketing
  • Minimum seven years of experience in digital marketing; in the retail and/or real estate industries
  • Highly engaged and active in the social media world – blogging, podcasting, video and picture sharing/streaming, widgets and gadgets, viral campaign management, mobile opportunities and social networking (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and other platforms/venue opportunities)
  • Must have previous experience developing robust email and social (FB, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram) programs
  • Extensive experience with email marketing and social/digital analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and execute short and long-term plans
  • Retail, hospitality and/or CPG experience
  • Experience managing outside agencies/vendors
  • Experience managing staff  
  • Enthusiastic team player, willing to "roll up your sleeves" to help team achieve goals
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast paced, punctual environment
  • Strong, insightful analytical skills and good business judgment
  • Comfortable teaching social media tools and processes to others in the organization
