Paladin's client, a top financial services firm located in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Paid Search & Display Marketing Manager. This person will support the consumer marketing team by executing existing paid search & display plans. You will be responsible for maintaining performance of the paid search, display, paid social media campaigns.
In this role you will directly manage PPC and display efforts—ensuring execution of existing paid strategy, campaign optimization, daily monitoring, and any needed trouble-shooting. You’ll track campaign performance, and perform weekly analysis to identify successes and performance issues.
Job Type: 4-5 Month Contract; Maternity-Leave Fill
Hours:  30 hours per week; One-site (required)
Start-Date: E/O April
Location: Downtown Chicago – Loop
Rate/Salary: DOE
• Directly (on each site) manage & execute PPC and display functions for the marketing team
• Monitor & optimize AdWords and Bing Ads Accounts
• As needed, create new AdWords campaigns, add keywords/ads
• For search, display and paid social, track campaign performance.
• Execute weekly analysis of campaigns/platforms to ID successes and/or performance issues
• Trouble-shoot and/or manage relationships with digital publishers
• Create/send DFA tags. Assign/un-assign creatives on backend
• Implement pixels via tag manager
• Upload, tag, and add YouTube descriptions to brand videos
• 2+ years comprehensive SEM/PPC/Display experience (agency or client side) *Essential*
• BA in Advertising/Marketing or related business field
• Experience managing/optimizing digital media budgets.
• Intermediate/advanced Google AdWords, Bing Ads, DFA/DBM, Facebook and Twitter Ads
• Knowledge/experience buying and tracking media buys/planning
• Solid understanding of web analytics/metrics/tools/platforms. Particularly Google Analytics.
• Advanced capabilities/knowledge of Excel. Must be able to VLook-up/create pivot tables.  
• Experience with: Google Tag Manager, A/B testing, landing page optimization, PowerPoint
• Clear grasp of paid/display creative best practices
• Strong analytical skills
