Member Experience/Service Designer Job in the Rolling Meadows, IL Area
Job Summary:
Paladin is seeking a Member Experience/Service Designer for a nationally recognized professional services client. Our client is seeking to build out their service design team for member experiences with someone creative, collaborative, a designer who employs human-centered strategies to solve real-world member experience problems. Reporting directly to the MX Design Manager, in this position you would be helping to rethink tangible and intangible business processes to revolutionize the efficacy of how employees and managers interact with one another. This is a position geared towards someone ready to dive into the intricacies of what makes brilliant service design and what implementations can be made to constantly improve business processes across all company delivery channels. Key Responsibilities:
- Educate and influence service design and human-centered design practice throughout all delivery channels.
- Discover and translate underserved and underdeveloped member needs into innovative and impactful design concepts. Utilize business partner input across the organization to facilitate this function.
- Collaborate with product, channel, and operations managers to prioritize effective service design implementation.
- Cultivate the member experience design management system.
- Provide meaningful and crucial change to constantly improve and research member experience.
- Facilitate cross-functional, collaborative workshops and experience mapping sessions.
- Utilize stakeholder and member input to plan, facilitate, and execute in-depth, human-centered design implementations and research.
- Create and rapidly iterate service prototypes and design recommendations.
Qualities and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in service design-related field
- 3+ years of experience (10+ years if no degree)
- Six Sigma – Green Belt
- Adobe CS expert level fluency
- Project facilitation expertise: the ability to translate real-world problems into innovative design solutions and interact with executive level stakeholders on a regular basis
- Extensive design research experience
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Analytical thinking, creative problem solving, ever-curious itch to reconsider current design practices and how to improve them
