Paladin has an exciting opportunity with a solid career trajectory with one of our clients located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Our client is in search for an entry/junior level Marketing Specialist to join a growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll be serving in an executional support role, responsible for managing the daily execution of marketing tactics for a specific business unit that will include campaigns, promotions, and events that align with company and business objectives.
 
On top of that, you’ll be working with partners who will build marketing campaigns, content and get to be hands-on with executing the go-to-market strategy of products being sold into a designated segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Own the execution of marketing campaigns and content to ensure its review and delivery through regulatory and legal approval process.
  • Deploy customer success stories and content across multiple channels, especially measurable digital channels.
  • Drive lead generation tactics with various stakeholders in business units, global marketing, commercial operation or relevant departments.
  • Track advertising and marketing campaign results, provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Conduct routine analyses of competitor marketing programs.
  • Assist with PPC (pay-per-click) advertising to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and e-commerce revenue.
  • Support voice-of-customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.  
  • Research and compile data and prepare information for presentations as needed (e.g. marketing trends, competitor strategies).

 
HARD & SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business or similar + 1 year of marketing experience (this may include internships).
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels.
  • Experience managing projects from concept-to-completion, including managing campaign timelines.
  • Experience supporting events/conferences.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, work and communicate effectively with peers.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and especially Excel).  
  • Detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, proactive, resourceful, flexible and able to drive strategy while also owning implementation.
