Paladin’s client, a global consulting firm has an immediate need for a contract Marketing Specialist for an 8-month contract assignment. I'm looking for a marketer, ideally with a professional services background, who would be able to commit to an assignment through the end of the 2018.
 
In this role, you will be managing the workflow of digital projects and existing marketing campaigns.  You will be updating content on the website (CMS experience is a must), editing and improving marketing collateral, assisting with event planning and logistics, and taking on certain budgetary/administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has comprehensive marketing understanding and capabilities, and is an effective project manager.
 
Job Type: Contract
Hourly Rate: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Location: On-site either at the Washington D.C. office OR Downtown Chicago-Loop
Hours Per Week: 40
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December 31, 2018 (possibly longer depending on budget and project needs)
 
What You Will Do: Provide marketing support in each of these areas
Events
• Provide status updates to members of the practice
• Execute logistics with outside vendors (hotel, restaurant, etc.)
• Initiate web-related promotion (website, invitations, etc.)
• General logistics (client invitations, RSVPs, invoices, printing, shipping, etc.)
 
Marketing content/Messaging consistency
• Website updates for events and thought leadership
• Manage the development of content and marketing collateral (i.e. collaborate with writers/creative)
• Update marketing collateral as needed; ensure brand identity consistency
• Create invitations, signage, branded materials as necessary
 
Marketing Budget
• Manage and maintain budget
• Pay vendor invoices

What You Will Need:
• Previous experience serving as a marketing coordinator / marketing support.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using a CMS such as Sitecore
• Understanding of marketing creative best practices
• Project management skills, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with different social media platforms, and social media marketing practices
