Our client is a global B2B company with offices in Buffalo Grove, IL that is looking to grow the marketing team in a strategic way. We are working with them to find the right candidate for a Marketing Manager position. This Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in creating and executing go-to-market strategy for new products; and will serve as the leader of marketing efforts to support sales and lead generation.
JOB TYPE: Permanent/Full-Time
LOCATION: Buffalo Grove, IL – onsite required
TRAVEL: 20%- 30% domestic & international (as needed)

• Oversee the strategy and development of integrated marketing plans and campaigns – inclusive of digital marketing—to drive sales and increase demand. A primary responsibility of this role is leading marketing support for lead generation.
• Drive brand awareness, and increase market share through key marketing programs
• Define strategy and develop both brand and product content for multi-channel usage.
• Own the creation and execution of go-to market plans for new B2B products in collaboration with global brand partners and regional sales teams.
• Develop product marketing strategy—including new product development, pricing strategy, product positioning, market segmentation and share, competitive analysis, and defining/meeting ROI and revenue targets.
• Lead market research activities around new product launches and overall brand elevation
• Data analysis to drive best marketing practices and strategy
• Act as a strategic lead within the organization, including with international teams, for new product go-to-market plans and marketing plans to drive sales.
• BS degree in Science, Marketing or similar field required. MBA a plus.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in brand marketing or product marketing – experience in campaign development required.
• Demonstrated ability in data-driven marketing & analytics
• Familiarity with healthcare IT processes
• An ideal candidate has: a scientific background; experience working the medical CPG, life sciences, or pharma industries; experience working in medical labs or hospitals.
• A keen understanding of business strategy – including experience in R&D, market & customer segmentation; competitor benchmarking, and financial analysis.
• Experience leveraging digital channels for demand generation   
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude; the ability to both think broadly and ‘hands on’ execute
