Paladin’s client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager for their office in Santa Monica. As the Marketing Manager, you will create and execute strategic marketing plans and campaigns to attract more attendees and gain more business. This is a contract position with potential to become permanent.
 
Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Develops, executes, and manages integrated marketing strategy/media campaigns for assigned shows through print and digital advertising, social media, email blasts and direct mail. Interprets and analyzes marketing data and develops recommended strategies and tactics supported by the analytics.
  • Provides appropriate support materials to engage exhibitors and retailers alike; leads efforts to develop email blasts, signage, show directories, sales presentations and sponsorship decks, invitations and VIP cards, and other marketing communications.  
  • Plans and creates/oversees the copywriting, design, approvals, production, editing, and distribution of all marketing materials.
  • Responsible for pre-show marketing collateral, print and online advertising, and onsite marketing assets (signage, directories and brochures), and may manage onsite entertainment assets including food, beverage, and décor.
  • Manages the marketing budget – planning, monitoring and reconciliation.
  • Cross-collaborates with peers in other lines of business to achieve consistent brand messaging where appropriate.

 
To qualify you must have:
 

  • A four-year college degree in marketing, business or a related field, or equivalent in related experience
  • At least five years’ experience in media, online/direct marketing or promotions.  
  • A proven track-record of strategic planning, digital media, database marketing, online marketing, web sites, search engines, social media, and/or advertising.  
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to quantify results of marketing programs, and be able to translate ideas into projects using hands-on capabilities.  
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills are required
  • A strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
