Paladin’s established non-profit client is looking for a highly skilled Marketing & Events Manager for their Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, contract position. The Marketing & Events Manager will assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of all organizational events and be a primary contact for internal departments and external vendors on all marketing collateral for the organization.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist in the project management of marketing collateral and graphic design projects
• Work closely with project stakeholders and external vendors to help ensure organization’s branding and messaging remains consistent on various platforms
• Plan and execute events including donor, volunteer and PR events
• Develop any necessary marketing collateral and assets for volunteer engagement opportunities
• Schedule and track current requests for speakers, tours, and ad-hoc volunteer activities
• Partner with the Communications team on email marketing and social media content
• Create and send emails using Constant Contact platform
• Track marketing KPIs as defined by Vice President and assist with the creation of KPI dashboards, reports, recaps and other presentation and meeting materials
 
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism, communications or related field
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in brand/consumer marketing or public relations, preferably in-house or agency; private sector (for-profit) marketing background is a plus
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated with exceptional critical thinking skills to execute on responsibilities
• Enthusiastic and productive team player with the flexibility to re-prioritize, multi-task and switch tasks fluidly
• Positive, can-do attitude with ability to hit the ground running
• Ability to creatively troubleshoot and work in a fast-moving, multi-tasking environment
• Must thrive under pressure and be able to accept constructive feedback
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is essential
• Experience using Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft CRM, or similar programs is a plus
