Paladin is a premier staffing agency working with a privately owned real estate development company based in the western suburbs of Chicago.  They are in search of a Marketing Director with a B2B background and strong management/leadership experience. In this role you will play a key part in leading and managing the marketing efforts for this professional services organization. This person will be responsible for executing corporate marketing strategy to enhance visibility and perception of a Company’s products and services among various audiences. You will be interfacing directly with company leadership to implement local, regional and national marketing strategies and tactics that align with the company direction and market needs that support key business drivers.
 
Additionally, you will be responsible for the implementation of all marketing plans in collaboration with executive leadership along with other marketing team members. You will provide one-on-one assistance to staff on key marketing programs and resources, and will serve as the key representative for all marketing initiatives.
 
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours)
Location: Oakbrook, IL
Travel: 10% - 15%
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Essential Job Duties:
• Identify and implement tactics to lead the execution of CenterPoint’s marketing strategy, foster a consistent brand and enhance the visibility of the
• Company in all markets.
• Collaborate with business leaders and regional teams to solicit and set marketing priorities across the business and deliver on agreed-upon goals.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand to differentiate and enhance the visibility of the Company and its products and services.
• Day-to-day management of marketing processes and personnel, including:
¿ Corporate messaging and marketing collateral such as brochures, e-blasts, press releases, presentations, speeches, case studies, white papers and videos.
¿ CenterPoint’s broker and tenant events, including The Annual Event, regional events, groundbreakings, ribbon-cuttings and grand openings.
¿ Corporate website design, content creation, maintenance and usage analytics.
¿ Public relations, news placements and media monitoring.
¿ Advertising campaigns in print, digital, social and outdoor.
¿ Sponsorship opportunities, real estate conferences and networking activities (e.g., trade shows, speaking opportunities, award submissions, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of current marketing trends, methods, metrics, and competitor data to identify areas for opportunity.
• Develop an annual marketing budget and track spend.
• Manage and provide direction to assigned staff; follow established HR processes for recruitment, performance management, compensation, etc.
• Act in accordance with the values of the company and comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
 
 
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field of study is required.
• 7+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role with a proven track record of brand development.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a team, with the ability to inspire and lead in a dynamic and responsive environment.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and relationship-building skills with a customer service mentality.
• Qualified candidates will have a history of demonstrating superior:

o Communication skills (written, oral, presentation, etc.)
o Organizational  and  time  management  skills
o Business  acumen  and  attention  to detail
o Willingness to accept feedback and constructive criticism
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Flexible with respect to work schedule; ability to travel 2-5 days per month or as needed.
