Paladin has an outstanding full-time opening for a Marketing Communications Specialist with a global non-profit organization located on Chicago’s North side near O’Hare. In this role, you will create and lead the implementation of marketing plans for various programs and initiatives. As Marketing Communications Specialist, you will manage concept formulation, design and production of marketing activities such as direct mail, email, website content, advertising, resources and promotional materials. Additionally, in this role, you will serve as a project manager: managing marketing budgets and working with the internal design/digital teams – as well as outside vendors – to oversee production schedules and conceptualize the art direction of deliverables. (The marketing deliverables will be 75% print vs. 25% digital.)
 
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience managing the execution of large-scale marketing programs. Knowledge of charitable giving vehicles and non-profits are preferred, but not required. Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

What You'll Do:

  • Create and manage the concept formulation, design and production of marketing collateral, direct mail, email marketing campaigns, website production and multimedia presentations
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and support marketing campaigns throughout its full cycle
  • Work collaboratively to develop, implement and evaluate marketing strategies that are consistent in messaging across multiple channels
  • Generate creative approaches to lead generation, enhanced reach of market
  • Build brand awareness and provide brand management; assist with brand management and oversight of brand guidelines

 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Publication Relations, or related field
  • Three years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Proven background developing and managing the execution of large-scale integrated marketing programs
  • Strong project management: Experience working with multiple vendors (print, online, design, creative, writing)
  • Ability to assist in developing strategies for marketing offerings while analyzing external marketing trends and establishing metrics based on market research and response metrics
  • Ability to create large volumes of collateral content with minimal direction under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and able to manage projects from concept through completion
