Paladin is in search for a newly created Market Research Analyst for a tech focused organization located in downtown Chicago.
In this role, you’ll conduct strategic market research and collaborate with the marketing team to support the organization’s key initiatives. The organization supports a very large global membership and this role will have a major impact on the value that the organization brings to this audience.   
The goal of the position is to develop internal research efforts, acquiring and interpreting market data, analyzing historic and forward-looking trend data, and writing reports and making recommendations based upon findings.
The ideal candidate will be able to conduct primary market research and create surveys/programming to gather data. If you have experience in market research and are someone who loves taking initiative, this could be the job for you!

What you will do:
•Lead research efforts to understand business and market-level data, and provide recommendations to cross-functional teams
•Analyze primary and secondary data, providing regular updates on internal metrics, competitive advertising, marketing initiatives, etc.
•Working proactively with internal and external clients to deliver effective fact-based presentations that explain and expand our businesses, while demonstrating category leadership.
•Handling all facets of executing strategic research, including writing and programming research surveys; working with marketing to create respondent lists, email invitations, and incentives; building datamaps and crosstabs; and designing research presentations that will be delivered to clients.
•Interacting with clients on a day-to-day basis, including professional responses to client questions and advice on how to best use research to solve business problems that drive client satisfaction.
•Supporting the execution of other content pieces based on this research, including white papers, blog posts, infographics, and more.  
What you will need to have:
•Bachelor’s degree in statistics, marketing or related business or science field
•1-3 years’ experience in market research-related position.
•Proven market research analysis experience and ability to interpret large amounts of data
•Strong communication and presentation skills
•Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience is a big plus)
•Adequate knowledge SAP or enterprise technology/software is a huge plus
•Familiarity with survey software packages such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc. is a plus
•Desired personality traits: Methodical, curious, statistically inclined with a side of creativity
•Demonstrated skill and comfort in proactively building relationships with various stakeholders and influencers.
•A sense of humor and a strong innate curiosity to learn are a must.
