Paladin has an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity working with a highly exciting consulting firm in Chicago! In this role, you will be able to wear multiple hats including that of a strategist, writer, video and podcast coordinator and story teller. This role will have a concentration on Internal Communications where you will use your writing skills to deliver effective and creative messaging solutions that support the firm’s strategic goals.
You’ll work closely with the Manager of Internal Communications and Business Communications to research, write and produce communication plans that inform, engage and align employees around the company’s vision and objectives. Additionally, you’ll partner with the marketing team, executives, consultants, HR, IT and other key stakeholders to monitor quality and ensure that deadlines are being met.

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Location: Chicago, IL (Loop)
Salary: Will commensurate with experience up to $70k/year + full benefits
Responsibilities to Include:
• Provide communication support for enterprise-wide initiatives, consulting practices, marketing and other departments including writing, proofreading, editing posts and announcements.
• Serve as a writer/editor of bi-weekly all company newsletter and monthly marketing e-newsletter.
• Produce and execute employee communication and change management plans, identifying objectives, strategies, tactics and metrics.
• Maintain company intranet content as well as messaging pushed through other company channels (i.e. email, SharePoint, webcasts, video, blogs, print).
• Project manage the deployment of new communication technologies and platforms.
• Provide support and on-site assistance for internal practice meetings, marketing meetings and town hall events.
• Maintain internal communications calendar.
• Bachelors’ degree in Communications, English, Journalism or similar discipline
• 3-7 years of corporate communications or related experience
• Knowledge of current communication tools and technologies with an eye on new trends
• Experience working on project teams
• Management of communication to multiple stakeholder groups at local, regional, national and international levels
• Willingness to handle administrative tasks
• Budget management
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and be agile
