Paladin is working with a global non-profit organization that has an immediate need for a Events Coordinator to help them while someone is out on maternity leave. We are looking for a polished and eager marketing professional who is good at project management and is detail-oriented. It’s imperative to have strong customer service and client-facing skills as you will be working with sponsorship partners, along with internal partners and other outside vendors.
 
Job Type: W2 Contract
Location: Rolling Meadows/Woodfield area
Start: January 22nd (flexible)
Duration: 3 months with potential for conversion to full-time (not guaranteed)
Rate: $20/hour
No remote/telecommute
 
Responsibilities May Include:
•Coordinate fulfillment of event sponsorship and exhibitions for conferences, webinars and virtual conferences, including management of sponsor benefits.
•Maintain ongoing and regular contact with all sponsors; serve as the main contact for sponsorship and advertising fulfillment activities.
•Develop and maintain a prospect list and account information for new sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
•Assist with account development including prospecting and lead development (as-needed).
•Coordinate lead generation efforts and process flow with marketing department.
•Provide CRM reporting.
•Coordinate fulfillment of media advertising for print/digital ads, banner ads and email marketing including collection and placement of advertising material.
•Work directly with outside vendors and internal departments to ensure sponsorship and advertising execution.
•Support the sponsorship team by providing sales support material, analytics, and account management communications to enterprise accounts and sponsorship representatives. Support sponsorship department with assigned projects.
•Track sponsor objectives, marketing platforms, spending and activation efforts to ensure relationship is meeting sponsor objectives and ROI.
•Assist in development of strategic marketing materials and sponsorship collateral material.
•Assist in strategic and tactical operational plans to ensure achievement of organization and departmental goals.
•Administer sponsorship policies with partners and across departments.
•Shipping of Sponsorship materials to all Conferences.
 
Requirements:
•Bachelors’ degree in marketing, communications or similar discipline with at least 1-years of marketing or coordination experience in a professional setting.
•Past experience creative sales/marketing materials is a plus.
•Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Salesforce (or any other CRM), Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
•Knowledge of Acrobat, SharePoint or analytical programs is a plus, but not required.
•Excellent customer service/client skills.
•Strong project management and follow-through skills.
