Paladin has an exciting opportunity for a full time, direct-hire Digital Media Planner position.  Our client is a major player in the media/advertising industry and is looking for a media rock star to join the team.  If you are looking to take the next step in your career and want to work on an exciting, high-profile account, this could be the opportunity you’ve been searching for!
The Digital Media Planner is an integrated, highly visible position on the team.  You will be managing the day-to-day media aspects of your client’s regional business, and will work in tandem with the Director of Communications/Media Supervisor as well as the account team.  Having worked with this client and team for quite a while, we can tell you that the work environment is very nurturing, and the Director is highly respected and has a great reputation within the industry.  The team leaders are often traveling, which means the Media Planner serves as a strong anchor in the office and needs to be able to take initiative and be very dependable.  This position will also mentor the assistant planner on the team.
The ideal candidate is someone with a solid understanding of media and has experience with strategic and tactical planning.  Top-notch assistant planners, or media planners looking for an exciting, new experience, should definitely consider applying.  Agency experience is certainly very helpful, as is retail advertising and/or auto experience.  This is an integrated role, so our client wants someone who understands digital media and analytics as well as other media types (Broadcast, Print, Out-of-Home, etc.).  
Additional requirements:
•Strong analytical ability and skilled at working with numbers, flowcharts, and reports
•Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint; Mac Keynote is a plus
•Knowledge of media research tools such as MRI, Scarborough, NSI, IMS, etc.
•Familiarity with media software such as MediaOcean and/or Workhorse (Mediatools)
