Paladin’s client, an international and established specialized publishing company, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager/Director to add to their office in Thousand Oaks, CA. The ideal candidate is creative, influential, and resourceful with at true passion for digital brand building and business development.  As the Marketing Director, you will drive high-level strategic discussions and be a thought leader within the company.  You will be responsible for all acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies and activities associated with e-commerce and product licensing, while accelerating revenue growth through marketing and new business development activities. In addition, you will work closely with our VP of Sales and VP of Editorial in crafting and implementing programs, and developing new business opportunities.   
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
• Develop and oversee budget and digital marketing calendar to plan.
• Advance the corporate image and brand both internally and externally.
• Define, implement, measure and report on ongoing analytics and resulting refinement of all digital marketing efforts, such as affiliate marketing and partnerships, paid and organic search, SEM / SEO, e-mail marketing, retargeting , display / remarketing, social media and related online sales channels (ROI and KPIs)
• Analyze key metrics that unit website traffic and our service quotas.
• Collaborate with US Editorial and Sales, and UK Marketing teams on product development, sales initiatives, and customer solutions, and digital marketing/strategy initiatives, and implementation
• Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures
• Assist with development and implementation of direct to consumer pricing and MAP strategies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.
• Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing multi-channel digital lead generation performance marketing campaigns
• Experience in Automotive After-market or automotive publishing is a plus
• You are a car enthusiast, or at least have an understanding of US car culture. Hands-on DIY automotive experience is a plus
• Expert understanding of all digital marketing principals, including: SEO, SEM/PPC, Social Media advertising, Analytics and Insights, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics and campaign tracking principles. Aptitude with Google Analytics a must
• Proven work experience as a Digital marketing strategist or Digital marketing manager including hands on experience with content development and online marketing tools and practices
• Demonstrable experience with eCRM software and email marketing
• Prefer experience with implementing and optimizing Amazon AMS and Google Adwords campaigns
• Direct to consumer e-Commerce experience
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness, working both independently and with a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
