Title: Marketing Automation Specialist

Type: Contract - ongoing part time (10hrs/week to start with increases based on project needs)
The Marketing Automation Specialist will be an absolute professional on Demand Generation. This is a critical role that gets to solve difficult and complex problems every day. This role has primary responsibility for building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and reporting on marketing campaigns.
What you’ll do:

  • You’ll own the end-to-end process of developing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and reporting on multi-touch, multi-channel marketing campaigns (emails, landing pages, forms, etc.) in market-leading marketing automation platforms.
  • You’ll have a keen attention to detail because a typical campaign can be comprised of hundreds of elements to keep track of.  
  • You’ll partner with the strategy team to design solutions for novel client needs, clarify requirements for existing projects, and connect the dots to ensure marketing campaigns will function as intended.
  • Having an analytical mindset, you’ll gather, validate, and analyze campaign performance data, derive insights, and provide data-driven recommendations for future optimizations.
  • You’ll perform Technical Quality Assurance testing for all campaign builds and peer QA for Front-End developers as needed.
  • You’ll proactively collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with internal teams and ensure on-hours, on-time, high-quality delivery for all projects.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Well-rounded experience designing multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns in market-leading Marketing Automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Act-On, etc.).
  • Fluency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms (, etc.) as well as web-based CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Ability to understand high-level campaign strategies and translate them into detailed execution plans that can be implemented by any team member.
  • Understanding of general marketing strategy, methodologies, and best practices around marketing campaign design, optimization, personalization, lead scoring and routing, attribution, testing etc., and a voracious appetite for staying up to date on digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong personal time management skills and independent work ethic.
  • Agency experience is a strong plus. Must be able to manage multiple priorities across multiple clients in an environment of constant context shifting, while still hitting deadlines.
  • Certification in Marketo, Eloqua, and/or Salesforce is an enormous plus.
