One of Paladin's Phoenix, Arizona based clients has an immediate need to hire a qualified and passionate Account Executive. Their account service team is growing due to new clients coming on board and an increase of projects and campaigns in the pipeline. This Account Executive role will be client facing and demand someone be both strategic and tactical when it comes to the daily management of client accounts and campaigns. Do you love the fast paced everyday grind of agency life combined with work/life balance? Not quite ready to go in-house, but like the idea of becoming more of a subject matter expert and less of a generalist? If you answered yes to all of these questions, this is the role for you!
 
As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with clients to understand their business needs, marketing plans, and goals to effectively lead them in strategy and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with assistant account executives and coordinators to communicate client needs, campaign strategy, and oversee all work to make sure it exceeds client expectations, budget, and deadlines, etc.
  • Roll up sleeves when needed to assist with any content development, proofreading, social media strategy, online advertising, creative brainstorming, campaign reporting, etc.
  • Meet with clients face to face and via phone and be comfortable walking them through campaign strategy, reporting on campaigns results, and pitching new ideas or recommendations
  • Conduct marketing research to develop creative briefs and strategic marketing plans
  • Build relationships with both clients, vendors, media, etc.
  • Continously be monitoring client industries for new trends, competitor news, etc.

 
As an Account Executive, you should have the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of account service experience on agency side
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
  • Experience working in a high volume environment where project management is vital in juggling multiple demands and sensitive campaigns
  • Capable of performing in both a strategic and tactical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident with presenting new business and existing client pitches
