An Account Director is needed to join our client and integrated marketing communications agency who plays in the B2B space.
Our client works with some of most recognizable brands and produces award-winning B2B campaigns.
The organization needs a savvy executive with a unique blend of B2B, account management, demand generation and brand marketing to lead all aspects of a global account.
The Account Director is a highly visible position in the organization, reporting directly to the C-suite.  This position is ideal for a creative minded B2B marketer looking to lead a cross-functional team and put their mark on a company disrupting the B2B marketing space.
Title: Account Director, Global
Location: Greater Chicago (100% onsite)
Type: Direct Hire
The Account Director will own all aspects of their client’s business (strategic planning, account management, budgeting, profitability, staffing) and act as the primary advocate for the client and the agency.  
Because of the nature of the role, our client is not considering candidates who are not currently at an agency.  Candidates must also have experience in B2B global marketing leading a multi-faceted team of 3+ individuals, and the ability to drive profitable results.
Additional requirements:

  • The ideal candidate has 10-12 years of experience in B2B Marketing with a strong background leading global accounts   
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team (three or more direct reports)
  • Experience leading strategic planning and execution on accounts
  • Scrappy self-starter who can move fast and change often
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across an organization
