Amy Berner  |  Chicago, IL    09.19.11

Once in a blue moon, we find a candidate who is so perfect for an assignment that the client's vision is actually exceeded. Amy Berner is one of those candidates.

Our client, a major Fortune Global 100 company, had signed on to sponsor the 2012 Olympics and needed an experienced event manager to help lead the effort. Responsibilities included coordinating with the Olympic committee, liaison with endorsement athletes, and procuring a qualified creative agency through RFP to make it all happen. Amy was one of several candidates who interviewed for the position, but immediately stood out due to her experience working as a sports marketing manager with another Fortune 100, where she participated in the vision and execution of a leading sponsorship presence in professional and amateur sports. The real clincher for our client, however, was that when they asked Amy, a former athlete, to name the magazines she subscribed to, Amy listed several sporting magazine titles. For our client, Amy's response demonstrated a true passion for sports and events marketing, which sealed the deal.

Amy, it is associates like yourself who give us our true passion for staffing. Way to go!

Scott Stoler  |  Dallas, TX    09.12.11

Scott Stoler has specialized print and design skills in packaging that are increasingly hard to find. Moreover, he is a true professional; always prompt to respond, and both flexible and reactive to schedule and timelines. As a freelance / self-employed graphic designer, Scott frequently works with us on temporary assignments that complement his schedule.

Recently, one of our clients had a huge volume of packaging work ordered by a large national retailer, and needed a team formed quickly to support the project. Scott went above and beyond the requirements of the job, and became a key person on the packaging series. When the scope of the assignment grew – originally slated for 2-3 months, it ultimately ended up being 8-months long – Scott was asked to extend, and has been sent back to this client yet again for two more assignments.

This client has since communicated their delight in being able to hire experienced reliable, creative talent from an agency – an experience they never had before. And as a direct result of Scott’s talent and responsiveness, we are the “go-to” agency for this client. Thanks, Scott!

Melissa Bourestom  |  Dallas, TX    09.05.11

Melissa Bourestom has been chosen as one of our featured associates for her strategic marketing ability, which paid big rewards for our client. Specifically, Melissa was brought in to support strategic sales initiatives and rev up digital content for the client's brand. It was important to the client that Melissa have a broad level of experience to help in many facets of marketing their brand, and Melissa came in immediately proving that she could add a great deal of value to their team. In fact, she hit it off so well with our client contact and key management, her assignment went beyond the original deadline, and she is at the top of their request list whenever they have a need.

We originally met Melissa through the Dallas / Fort Worth AMA, where she serves on the board and is responsible for sponsorships and community activities. With a diverse skill set, strong verbal and written communications skills, and sharp intellect, we knew immediately she would be a valuable asset to the Paladin family.

"It is so refreshing to have someone who can think on her feet and seek best-case scenarios on projects, rather than a ’cookie-cutter’ solution," stated our client. We couldn't agree more! Thanks for all you do, Melissa.
